Everything you need to know about Holley LS Fest West!
Holley’s LS Fest West takes place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The event is centered around GM’s popular LS engine, and welcomes any and all vehicles equipped with a 1997 or later LS engine (or late model LT V8), whether originally installed or installed as a modification to an existing vehicle. The event grows each year and thousands of LS gearheads, participants, and spectators come together for the performance-filled three-day event!
This year’s event includes:
- Autocross
- 3S Challenge
- Drift Challenge
- Burnout competition
- Drag Racing Classes
- Dyno Challenge
- Car Show
- Dirt Destruction
- A large vendor midway & much more!
Run groups are selected as you register, make sure to speak with your buddy’s BEFORE you register. Run groups can not be changed once you purchase them.
Sorry to hear that, please email lsfest@holley.com. Please note that no refunds will be issued. The exception to the rule is that refunds will be issued entirely in the event LS Fest can’t happen due to unforeseen circumstances or acts of God.
NEW starting in 2023 with the Autocross package – two drivers CAN use the same vehicle however both participants MUST purchase the Fun Run option – neither drivers can be eligible for competition or prizes. Unfortunately, due to our method of keeping track of points and standings, Grand Champion Competition cannot be more than one registered driver per vehicle at Holley LS Fest events. If you’re participating in a Grand Champion competition or autocross, for example, having two drivers in one vehicle with one number on the vehicle will throw off any results if they are not recorded properly. One driver per vehicle helps ensure that all standings are accurate throughout the entirety of the event. Two drivers may register the same vehicle for two different drag race classes, however at least one of the classes must be an index style run class.
For those who wish to participate with their vehicle, we have several packages available: Grand Champion Pack grants you access to the autocross, 3S Challenge, Dyno challenge, Car Show, and the Grand Champion specific Drag Class. This class is limited to the first 250 registrants and includes gate passes for the competitor and one crew member.
For those who do not want to participate in the Grand Champion competition, we also have a 3-day Autocross package. This allows you to run your vehicle in the autocross, dyno challenge, and the Car Show.
For our drag racing contingent, we have many drag racing classes to choose from. Please follow the link to find out more about class information. A drag race package allows a racer to participate in the Dyno Challenge, Friday Test-N-Tune, Car Show, and Saturday and Sunday drag racing.
If you’re not into putting your pride and joy through the ringer, we also have a 3-day car show pack available. This package is great as it includes gate passes for the driver plus one additional person (2 total), and allows you to participate in the Car Show and Dyno challenge.
As a spectator, you can expect to be able to enjoy watching all of these events unfold over the course of the weekend while enjoying a large vendor midway to spec out parts for your current ride or project vehicle. We will also have a large selection of food vendors on-site to keep you going!

Car Show Overview:
- For 2023, we are adopting a new way of selecting vehicles for awards. LS Fest is a great place to see some of if not the best LS and current Gen LT vehicles out west. Our car show is designed to showcase what enthusiasts and builders have been working on without adopting a “Concours d’Elegance” level of stringent evaluation for each vehicle. We’re all here to have a great time and recognize what our staff feels represents the best in each category.
- A celebrity panel of industry professionals, builders, car content creators, and influencers are joining us to select a winner for each category (listed above) along with additional awards including the following: Best Body, Engine Compartment, Undercarriage, Best paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Best Engineered, Holley’s Presidents Pick, & Sponsors Pick.
- All registrants will be parked at the Car Show corral
- Each car show participant receives a car number on their decal. Awards will be distributed and winners recognized early Saturday evening at the Donut Pit. Be present to find out if you are a winner. Please refer to the schedule of events for the specific time. You do not need to be present at the time your car is reviewed. Our staff will be combing the grounds throughout the first two days.
Spectator camping is not available at LS Fest West, however, if you are a racer and are hauling your vehicle with an RV or toter home that is self-contained and requires no hook-ups, staying on the grounds for the weekend is permitted.
Any vehicle equipped with an LS or Gen V LT engine (Read LS1, LS2, LS3, LS4, LS7, LSA, LSX, LSXR, or 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, truck variants, or any other LS-based engine). Any year, make or model vehicle accepted.

Officially registered participants who request a permit will be issued one vehicle permit for the duration of the event. All support vehicle drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a current state-issued driver’s license.
Spectators or other non-registered participants cannot bring any golf carts onto the property for any reason. They are allowed to be left throughout the event weekend.
