Talk about a gearhead from the start! Jeff Woods' very first car was this 1967 Slingshot Dragster. Jeff's 1967 front-engine dragster is nicknamed 'Spare Parts.' He purchased this car when he was only 15 years old using money he earned from mowing lawns. It took him three years to get it running, and it started with a small block Chevy engine. However, after a friendly challenge at a Dyno event, it underwent an LS engine swap. In the process, they threw in some spare parts they had lying around, including a twin turbo setup. The car features a six-liter fully forged engine, a Powerglide transmission, and a Holley HP engine management system. The EFI components were initially meant for his unfinished Camaro project. The Holley HP system enabled Jeff to transition from carbureted to EFI without extensive knowledge. Now, he can tune and make adjustments with confidence.
