Join Richard Burnett from DFW Coating at LS Fest Texas, as he showcases his one-of-a-kind 1960 International Metro Mite. Originally a Northern California find, this custom vehicle underwent a fascinating transformation, including roof repairs and a roof chop. Equipped with a 223 Buick engine used for hauling dirt track cars, Richard eventually replaced it with a junkyard five three engine from a 2004 Tahoe, providing the much-needed power. With some modifications to the seating and steering, this Metro Mite now offers a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. While still a work in progress, Richard has plans for future bodywork and a new look, likely to retain its distinctive white color, possibly with a touch of pearl. Stay tuned for updates on this unique restoration project at next year's LS Fest Texas!
