Calling all Trucks and SUVs! The Truck Shootout at LS Fest Texas is a new event feature for ALL registered Truck & SUV participants! There is no additional registration required. All participants in any Truck & SUV segment at LS Fest Texas will be in the running! The Truck Shootout will consist segment-specific competitions in Car Show, Drag Race, Autocross, and the Dyno Challenge.

For Car Show, we're taking a different approach from the other categories and we are now choosing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Truck & SUV Category to determine Truck Shootout show-winners instead of just one single category winner.

In the Drag Race segment, the 1st and 2nd place winners from both Friday and Saturday's Truck & SUV Class will face-off on Saturday night after eliminations to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall for the Drag Race portion of the Shootout.

Autocross has a similar format to Drag Race. The 3 fastest trucks and SUVs from the Saturday Autocross session will face-off at the end of the day for one final round. Fastest passes win!

We are adding a Truck & SUV-specific category to the Dyno Challenge! We will be closely following the horsepower numbers for both Naturally Aspirated and Power Adder throughout the entire weekend then, the truck or SUV that puts down the most power will be the winner of the Dyno portion of the Shootout!

LS Fest Texas Truck Shootout Awards will be determined in time for the overall event Awards Ceremony taking place Saturday Night. So load up your trucks, dial in the tune, shine up the tires, and get the suspension set to compete for the Truck Shootout title!
